    ESTATE JEWELLERY

    What Is Estate Jewellery?

Estate jewellery is typically pre-owned, vintage jewellery.

    What Products Does Summit Sell?

Summit sells a wide variety of new, modern and estate jewellery. We have considerable expertise in precious gemstones.

How do I sell an estate piece to Summit?

Contact us by filling in the form (link) and submitting it along with photographs of your item. We will then contact you to discuss whether or not we can accept the piece of jewellery you would like to sell.

    How Does Consignment Jewellery Work?

Once we have received a photograph of your item(s), we will contact you to let you know if we can accept your piece of jewellery for sale. We will then schedule a meeting, where we will conduct a careful review and evaluation of the item(s). Once we agree on a selling price, we will write a contract that will specify all the details.

    INSURANCE

    Do You Provide Insurance Appraisals?

Yes. We have been working with the same, highly experienced gemologist for many years. You can rest assured that you are getting an honest, accurate and creditable appraisal.

    Do You Insure Jewellery?

Yes. We automatically insure the jewellery we have in stock. However, an extra charge will be applied to insure consigned jewellery.

Do You Clean Or Provide Care For Jewellery Sold On-Site?

    Yes.

    ORDERS AND RING SIZES

Can I Custom Design An Engagement Ring?

Absolutely! Contact us to arrange a time to meet and go over your ideas. We will make sure to provide you with the perfect ring!

If I Purchase An Engagement Ring And A Loose Diamond, Do I Have To Pay Extra To Have The Diamond Set Into The Ring?

No. When you purchase an engagement ring and a loose diamond, the price includes the setting and sizing of the ring.

What If I Need Help Placing An Order On Your Website?

Give us a call! One of our employees will help you through the process.

How Do I Find My Ring Size?

If you can come to see us in person, we can measure your ring size here.

If you are unable to reach us or wish to find out at home, you can use a piece of string to find out. Wrap the string around your finger and mark the length. Afterwards, measure the length in millimetres, and that is your ring size!

What If My Ring Doesn't Fit?

Come into our office, and we will be happy to help you. If you are unable to come to us, most jewellery stores can provide resize services.

Please note that not all rings can be resized because of the material and the gems used. If your ring cannot be resized, you will need to exchange it for another size if available.

    OUR DIAMONDS AND JEWELLERY

What Are GIA, AGS And IGI Diamond Certificates?

GIA (Gemological Institute of America), AGS (American Gem Society), and IGI (International Gemological Institute) are different gemological institutions that evaluate gems. A diamond certificate is essentially a report on the diamond that you purchased. The certificate includes a full evaluation of the diamond’s quality and components, namely the 4 C’s: Carat, Cut, Colour and Clarity. These certificates provide you with the confidence that the diamond you received is the diamond described by the seller and the diamond which you purchased. Additionally, diamond certificates, regardless of which institution provided the evaluation, are crucial for insurance purposes.

Can you help me to find a specific diamond?

Yes, Razi has strong connections in the diamond industry and can source any stone, large or small, to suit your needs.

    LAB-GROWN DIAMONDS

    What Is A Lab-Grown Diamond?

A lab-grown diamond is precisely that: a diamond created in a laboratory.

The diamonds are grown in laboratories that clone the natural conditions that produce earth-grown diamonds: high pressure and high temperatures.

They use two methods to create lab-grown diamonds: High Pressure-High Temperature (HPHT) method or the Chemical Vapor Disposition (CVD) method.

    Is A Lab-Grown Diamond Better?

Lab-grown diamonds are a great alternative to a natural diamond if you are looking to spend a smaller amount of money on the stone.

Lab-grown diamonds are almost indistinguishable from natural diamonds. Only a gemologist or someone with extensive knowledge of diamonds will be able to identify if they are lab-grown.

Nothing makes eyes sparkle more than a diamond from Summit.
