This Is How It Works…Simple:
Step 1
Please describe your item and upload a photograph through our contact form for us to assess.
Step 2
If we feel that it is a piece of jewellery or a watch that will be able to re-sell, we will contact you to make an appointment to come in with the item for us to evaluate.
If we feel that we will not be able to sell your item we will also contact you to let you know.
Step 3
At this time we will be able to suggest a price for the item and we can discuss moving forward with either a consignment or purchase agreement.
Step 4
We will agree on a commission and sign an agreement for you to leave the piece with Summit.
Step 5
It is important for you to be aware that your item may have to be modified or repaired at a cost to you in order for it to be sold at it’s highest possible value. This will be discussed and agreed to at the meeting.
Step 5
Insurance charges will be applied for high-value items.
Step 6
Once your piece of jewellery or watch is ready to sell, we will use our worldwide network in order to move the item as quickly as possible for the most value attainable. Understand that it may take some time in order to get the best price for your item, so you must be prepared to wait it out. It is essential to keep an open mind when dealing with estate jewellery sales.
Step 7.
When the piece is sold, you will be contacted and paid less the agreed commission amount.
